Bhagavad Gita
Abhinavagupta also wrote a beautiful commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. In his unique style he gave this ancient classic the white-wash of Kashmir Shaivism. Adding eighteen verses from his own pen he concluded each chapter with a special verse that captured the theme of that chapter. Translating these eighteen verse into English, Swami Lakshmanjoo referred to them as 'the Bhagavad Gita in a nutshell'.
